Asnières-sur-Seine is a medium-sized town found approximately eight kilometres to the north of Paris. As of the 2012 census, more than 83,000 residents call this community home. Interestingly enough, the original name of this town can roughly be translated as meaning "donkey farm" and it was mentioned as far back as 1158. Many of those who live here regularly commute to Paris via car or public transportation services. However, Asnières-sur-Seine is also home to a number of recognised industries. Besides being a prominent retail district, large corporations such as L'Oreal and Louis Vuitton have major outlets here. The town is served by line 13 of the Paris Metro and there are three separate stops to choose from. Those looking to see the sights that this region has to offer will often contact the Enterprise Rent-a-Car offices to be found here. Reservations can be made in only a matter of minutes.
