Trabzon Airport is an important hub for domestic flights within Turkey. Opened in 1957, the airport is roughly five miles east along the coast from the important city of Trabzon. Pick up your hire car from the domestic flights terminal at the airport and begin your route into the city or surrounding areas. Driving into the city from the airport takes around 10-15 minutes, via the D010/E70. When you're there, you'll discover Trabzon, the Black Sea's busiest port and the region's most up-and-coming city. Visit the medieval Aya Sofya mosque, once a church, built in the 13th century. The Atatürk Alani square to the east of the city centre is a bustling place full of restaurants, cafes and many of the city's hotels. Drive to the west of the city and you'll find Ortahisar, a lovely old district that straddles a ravine. It's well worth driving out to the former Byzantine monastery in Sumela, some 30 miles to the south of Trabzon. ADDITIONAL DRIVER A DAILY CHARGE OF 7 EUR PLUS VAT FOR EACH ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVER OTHER THAN SPOUSE OR DOMESTIC PARTNER OF THE PRIMARY RENTER. REQUEST FOR PERMISSION FOR THE ADDITIONAL DRIVER SHOULD BE MADE AT THE START OF RENTAL. FULL RENTAL CONDITIONS APPLY TO ALL ADDITIONAL DRIVERS.

After hours drop is only allowed at locations that are open 24hrs.  The rental location must be informed of the return time at the beginning of the rental.  If this results in a one way rental an additional fee may apply.

Mini - MBMR, Economy and Economy Elite vehicles - EDMR, EDMD, EDAR, EDAD, HDMD, Compact - CDMR, CFAR, Intermediate and several Standard vehicles - IDMR, IDMD, IDAR, IDAD, IWMD, SDMR, SDMD, SDAD - are available for renters 21 years of age and older. A young driver fee of 11.02 EUR excluding vat per day will apply. Intermediate SUV, Fullsize, Standard SUVs, Premium and Luxury vehicles -IFAR,FDAR, SFAR, SFAD, PDAR, LDAR, LVMD - are available for renters 25 years of age and older only. There is no young driver fee for these car groups.

CDW COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER THEFT PROTECTION CDWTP IS COMBINED AND INCLUDED IN THE PRICE, EXCEPT FOR RATES FOR THE UNITED STATES MARKET. CDW COVERS DAMAGE AND OR THEFT OF THE VEHICLE. DAMAGE TO THE UNDERSIDE, INTERIOR AND ROOF IS NOT COVERED. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED DUE TO DRIVER NEGLIGENCE AND OR IN BREACH OF THE DRIVING LAWS OF THE RENTAL COUNTRY IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RENTER AND NOT COVERED BY CDW. IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE OR THEFT THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING A POLICE REPORT. WITHOUT A POLICE REPORT THE CLIENT TAKES FULL RESPONSIBILITY. THE DAILY PREMIUM FOR ALL CAR GROUPS IS 13 EUR WITH EXCESS RANGING FROM 200.00 – 500.00 EUR DEPENDING ON CAR GROUP.

ONE WAY TRAVEL IS AVAILABLE AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS FOR A FEE OF 60 EUR ISTANBUL, ANKARA, ADANA, ANTALYA AND BODRUM. ONE WAY TRAVEL IS ALLOWED BETWEEN ALL LOCATIONS IN TURKEY WITH FEES DEPENDENT ON THE ONE WAY ROUTE. ONE WAY TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF TURKEY IS NOT PERMITTED. ALL ONE WAYS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST, PLEASE CONTACT THE RENTAL LOCATION FOR PRICING AND AVAILABILITY.

REFUELING CHARGES. ALL VEHICLES ARE DELIVERED WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL AND MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION. IF THE VEHICLE IS RETURNED WITH LESS THAN A FULL TANK OF FUEL, THE RENTER WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE DIFFERENCE IN FUEL 20 PERCENT. VAT AND LOCAL FEES AND SURCHARGES WILL ALSO APPLY TO FUEL CHARGES.

SLP SUPPLEMENTARY LIABILITY PROTECTION THIRD PARTY LIABILITY MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR THIRD PARTIES. DEATH OR INJURIES PER PERSON UP TO FIVE TRY 250.000 APPROX. 100,000 EUR PER PERSON, 1.250.000 TRY APPROX. 500.000 EUR PER ACCIDENT. VEHICLE DAMAGE 25.000 TRY APPROX. 10.000 EUR PER VEHICLE, 50.000 TRY APPROX. 20.000 EUR PER ACCIDENT. AS REQUIRED BY LAWS OF THE COUNTRY AND INCLUDED IN ALL RATES VAT IS INCLUDED IN ALL RATES.

CROSS BORDER POLICY. CARS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE DRIVEN OUT OF TURKEY AT ANY TIME.

ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT AMEX, DINERS, MASTERCARD, AND VISA ARE ACCEPTED. SECURITY DEPOSITS SD. FOR EACH RENTAL A CREDIT CARD VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS, AND AMEX IS REQUIRED. DEPOSIT ALL CUSTOMERS ARE REQUIRED TO PLACE A CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT DOWN AT THE TIME OF RENTAL. THE DEPOSIT RANGES FROM 100 EUR TO 350 EUR PLUS THE COST OF THE RENTAL DEPENDING ON VEHICLE CLASS. THE DEPOSIT IS BASED ON EXTENSION DAYS, THE FUEL SERVICE OPTION, AND IT MAY INCREASE AS OPTIONAL EXTRAS ARE ADDED AT THE COUNTER. THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN COVERAGES MAY REDUCE THE DEPOSIT. DEBIT CARDS, CASH AND OTHER DEBIT CARDS, TRAVELERS CHECKS AND EURO CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT ANY TIME. CASH CANNOT BE USED FOR THE DEPOSIT BUT CAN BE USED FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE RENTAL.

IN ORDER TO REQUEST ROADSIDE SERVICE, PLEASE CALL 90 216 44 44 937 TO BE CONNECTED WITH ONE OF OUR ASSISTANCE PROVIDERS. THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK AND IS FREE OF CHARGE. IN THE INSTANCE OF DRIVER NEGLIGENCE OR VIOLATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT, THE CUSTOMER WILL BE HELD FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED COSTS.

RENTER REQUIREMENTS. ALL DRIVERS AND ADDITIONAL DRIVERS MUST PRODUCE A VALID DRIVING LICENSE AT THE TIME OF RENTAL. IN ADDITION TO A VALID DRIVING LICENSE, ALL THE CLIENTS MUST PRESENT AN IDENTITY CARD OR PASSPORT. IF THE CUSTOMER IS FOREIGN HE OR SHE MUST PRESENT THE PAPER SEAL ON HIS OR HER PASSPORT AT THE RENTAL COUNTER.

THIRD PARTY LIABILITY – SLP – MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR THIRD PARTIES. DEATH OR INJURIES PER PERSON UP TO A LIMIT OF FIVE PERSONS - 250,000 TRY - APPROXIMATELY 100,000 EUR PER PERSON, 1,250,000 TRY - APPROXIMATELY 500,000 EUR PER ACCIDENT. VEHICLE DAMAGE 25,000 TRY - APPROXIMATELY 10,000 EUR PER VEHICLE, 50,000 TRY - APPROXIMATELY 20,000 EUR PER ACCIDENT. THIRD PARTY LIABILITY IS MANDATORY AS REQUIRED BY THE LAWS OF THE COUNTRY AND INCLUDED IN ALL RATES.

To rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the United States and Canada, you will need the following:

  • To be 25 years old 
  • A valid driver's license with a photo
  • A photo ID (For example: a driver’s license or passport)
  • Credit or debit card (check the acceptable forms of payment at the location you’re renting from)

Some locations may require additional information, including but not limited to: 

  • An International Driving Permit (IDP): If the license is written in a language or characters different to those of the country of rental, an IDP is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
  • Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK. 

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Fuel Policy at Non-Airport locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • A full tank of gas is not guaranteed.

Fuel Policy at Airport Car Rental Locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • You may opt to pre-pay for fuel -- Pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
    • You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
    • Pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of gas minus a per gallon discount.

Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
