Once inhabited by pirates, Saint-Malo is today a top tourist destination in Brittany, with a bustling ferry port. It has a wonderfully atmospheric walled city, known as the 'intra muros'. Walking through the town's cobbled streets is like going back in time. With several districts, the intra muros area is the most popular of all, and has tall granite buildings along with a collection of good hotels and restaurants. Saint-Malo benefits from two Enterprise branches; one at the Saint-Malo train station, and the other at the Aeroport Dinard Saint Malo, which is 20 minutes from Saint-Malo, via the D168. If you're arriving at the ferry terminal, you can walk to the Enterprise branch at the train station in around 28 minutes or take a taxi to pick up your hire car.
