Rental Policies

Additional drivers must meet same rental qualifications as the renter, except spouse or domestic partner. Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. There will be an additional charge of 12.00 USD per day for each additional authorized driver other than a spouse or domestic partner, unless other contractual conditions apply. There is a limit of one additional driver per rental contract. A spouse or domestic partner is the only permitted additional driver on non-credit card deposit. Additional drivers must be 21 or older.There will be an additional charge of 10.00 USD per day for each additional authorized driver other than a spouse or domestic partner.

PRIMARY DRIVERS-RENTERS MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. DRIVERS YOUNGER THAN 25 ARE RESTRICTED TO ECONOMY THRU FULL SIZE, MINIVANS AND CARGO VANS ONLY. RENTERS-DRIVERS MUST BE AGED 30 OR OLDER TO RENT A SPORTS CAR. TRAVEL TO THE UNITED STATES IS LIMITED TO RENTERS 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

This reservation is being made with a Contract ID number (CID) assigned to a Corporate Account for use exclusively by its eligible renters. Use of this CID by individuals other than eligible renters is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action. Renters using this CID may be required to show proof of employment or authorization (such as a business card, current email with company domain, work order, etc.). Questions about acceptable proof of employment or authorization should be directed to your Travel Manager.

DAMAGE WAIVER (DW) FOR THIS BRANCH RANGES BETWEEN $20.99 AND $29.99 PER DAY. - DW IS OFFERED AT THE TIME OF RENTAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL DAILY CHARGE. IF THE RENTER ACCEPTS DW, ENTERPRISE WAIVES OR REDUCES THE RENTER'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OF, OR DAMAGE TO, THE RENTAL VEHICLE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TOWING, STORAGE, LOSS OF USE, ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND/OR DIMINISHMENT OF VALUE) SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT AND APPLICABLE LAWS. DW IS NOT INSURANCE. THE PURCHASE OF DW IS OPTIONAL AND NOT REQUIRED TO RENT A CAR. THE PROTECTION PROVIDED BY DW MAY DUPLICATE THE RENTER'S EXISTING COVERAGE. ENTERPRISE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO EVALUATE THE ADEQUACY OF THE RENTER'S EXISTING COVERAGE; THEREFORE THE RENTER SHOULD EXAMINE HIS OR HER CREDIT CARD PROTECTIONS, AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE POLICIES OR OTHER SOURCES OF COVERAGE THAT MAY DUPLICATE THE PROTECTION PROVIDED BY DW.

Exotic Car Classes

DEPOSIT AMOUNT

To account for Renter potentially incurring additional amounts owed under the Contract, at the time of rental, renters will be required to provide the following deposit amount:

$850 for the following vehicles classes: Performance Sport, Full Size Luxury SUV, Electric Luxury SUV, Full Size Elite Electric Sedan, Midsize Sport Luxury Sedan, Full Size Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Extended Luxury SUV, Limo Van, and Corvette. 

$1,000 for the following vehicle classes: Luxury Performance Sport, Elite Performance Sport, Ultra Performance Sport, Ultra Luxury Sedan, and Ultra Luxury SUV.

INSURANCE VERIFICATION

At the time of rental, Renter must provide evidence of transferrable auto collision, comprehensive and liability policy for the following vehicle classes: Full Size Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, Midsize Sport Luxury Sedan, Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Extended Luxury SUV, Electric Luxury SUV, Limo Van, Corvette, Luxury Performance Sport, Elite Performance Sport, Ultra Performance Sport, Ultra Luxury Sedan, and Ultra Luxury SUV.

The renters liability insurance will apply except where Enterprise is required by law to provide liability protection.

RATES ARE QUOTED IN CANADIAN DOLLARS. THIS OFFICE DOES NOT ACCEPT DISCOVER CARDS. CUSTOMERS RENTING SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES MUST HAVE THEFT COVERAGE THAT TRANSFERS OVER TO RENTAL VEHICLES. A DEPOSIT PLUS THE AMOUNT OF THE RENTAL IS REQUIRED ON A CREDIT CARD IN ORDER TO RENT A VEHICLE.

Personal Accident Insurance - Personal Effects Coverage - PAI-PEC - is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If accepted the PAI contained in the policy provides renter and renters passengers with accidental death, accident medical expenses and ambulance expense benefits. The PEC contained in the policy insures the personal effects of the renter, additional drivers, or any member of the renters immediate family who permanently resides in the renters household and who is traveling with the renter against risks of loss or damage. Benefits are payable in addition to any other insurance coverage the renter or passengers may have. This is a summary only. PAI-PEC is subject to the provisions, limitations and exclusions of the PAI-PEC policy underwritten by Chubb Insurance Company of Canada. The purchase of PAI-PEC is optional and not required to rent a car. The coverage provided by PAI-PEC may duplicate the renters existing coverage. Enterprise is not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the renters existing coverage, therefore the renter should examine his or her personal insurance policies or other sources of coverage that may duplicate the coverage provided by PAI-PEC. The PAI-PEC for this branch is 6.99 CAD per day.

Personal Accident Insurance - PAI - for this branch is 6.99 CAD per day. Personal Accident Insurance - PAI - is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If accepted, PAI provides the renter and passengers with accidental death, medical expenses and dental benefits. Benefits are payable in addition to any other insurance coverage the renter or passengers may have. This is a summary only. PAI is subject to the provisions, limitations and exclusions of the PAI policy under-written by Aviva Insurance Company. The purchase of PAI is optional and not required to rent a car. The coverage provided by PAI may duplicate the renters existing coverage. Enterprise is not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the renters existing coverage, therefore the renter should examine his or her personal insurance policies or other sources of coverage that may duplicate the coverage provided by PAI.

A MAJOR CREDIT CARD IN THE RENTERS NAME IS REQUIRED FOR A DEPOSIT ON ALL RENTALS.

 

AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT, CASH, TRAVELERS CHECKS OR A MAJOR CREDIT CARD ARE ACCEPTED. CANADIAN OFFICES DO NOT ACCEPT THE DISCOVER CARD AT ANY TIME.

Renter may purchase Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) from Owner for an additional fee. If Renter purchases RAP, Owner agrees, subject to the actions that invalidate Damage Waiver, to contractually waive Renter’s responsibility for the cost to provide 24/7 roadside assistance (where available) which includes replacement of lost keys (including remote entry devices), flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, the vehicle will be towed. Cost of a replacement tire is not covered by RAP), lockout service (if the keys are locked inside the vehicle), jumpstarts, and fuel delivery service for up to 3 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel if Vehicle is out of fuel. Roadside Assistance Protection services are only available in the United States and Canada. If Renter does not purchase RAP, or RAP is invalidated as set forth above, roadside assistance will be available, but standard charges will apply. RAP does not apply in Mexico. ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE-- A VALID UNITED STATES, CANADIAN, OR INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS PERMIT. ALL INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS MUST ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN COUNTRY SPECIFIC DRIVERS LICENSE AND PASSPORT.

Our TollPass Program is our electronic toll collection program which allows our renters to drive through electronic toll lanes and pay tolls electronically, without having to stop and pay cash. In addition, many toll plazas have converted to all electronic tolling and removed the option for travelers to stop and pay cash at toll plazas.

The cost of a rental car depends on many factors and can vary greatly. These factors include:

To rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the United States and Canada, you will need the following:

  • To be 25 years old 
  • A valid driver's license with a photo
  • A photo ID (For example: a driver’s license or passport)
  • Credit or debit card (check the acceptable forms of payment at the location you’re renting from)

Some locations may require additional information, including but not limited to: 

  • An International Driving Permit (IDP): If the license is written in a language or characters different to those of the country of rental, an IDP is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
  • Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK. 

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Fuel Policy at Non-Airport locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • A full tank of gas is not guaranteed.

Fuel Policy at Airport Car Rental Locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • You may opt to pre-pay for fuel -- Pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
    • You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
    • Pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of gas minus a per gallon discount.

Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
